Motto Republik was the place to be this past weekend as Harare’s hip-hop community gathered for the latest edition of Shebeen Fest. This month’s event, aptly themed Shebeen Febrewery, celebrated the fusion of love and alcohol in the spirit of Valentine’s season. The night was headlined by none other than The Shebeen Boys, Dingo Duke and Dough Major, alongside Dilly1Buck and Ndonzi Beatx, delivering a show that left the crowd in awe.

From the moment the first beat dropped, it was clear that Shebeen Febrewery would be a night to remember. The energy was electric, and the turnout was the biggest the event has seen yet. Fans packed the venue, eager to witness a stellar lineup of performances that kept them on their feet all night. The sound system was crisp, the stage lighting perfectly synced to the beats, and the overall atmosphere was nothing short of mesmerizing.

One of the highlights of the night was Dilly1Buck’s performance of his latest banger, Song Yeku Blower. The track sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy. The sheer intensity and passion on stage resonated deeply with the audience, making it a standout moment of the festival. The artist’s seamless transitions and dynamic stage presence only added to the spectacle, proving why he remains a fan favorite.

Adding to the excitement were stellar performances from Kayflow, Raykaz, Ishan, Saiiren, and Lloyd Soul, who each brought their own unique style and energy to the stage, ensuring that the night remained unforgettable. Kayflow had the crowd chanting along to his hard-hitting verses, while Raykaz delivered a performance packed with energy and charisma. Ishan’s smooth vocals captivated the audience, creating a perfect contrast to the night’s harder beats. Saiiren brought an undeniable stage presence that had the crowd hyped from start to finish, and Lloyd Soul closed out his set with a soulful performance that had fans swaying in unison, especially during his collaboration with Dingo Duke on Kwiyo, a track that had the entire crowd singing along in harmony.

Complementing the lineup of lyrical heavyweights was a lineup of top-tier DJs who kept the vibe alive between sets. The decks were blessed by Madeherbelieve, DJ Shumba, Nassper, and DJ RSK Kudzi, the latter making his highly anticipated Shebeen Fest debut. Each DJ brought their signature style, ensuring that not a single moment of the night lacked energy. The music selection ranged from classic hip-hop anthems to the latest bangers, catering to both old-school heads and new-wave fans alike.

Beyond the performances, Shebeen Febrewery offered a complete festival experience. Food stalls served up delicious local cuisine, and the bar was fully stocked with a variety of drinks to keep the crowd refreshed. The event also featured interactive photo booths and merchandise stands where fans could grab exclusive Shebeen Fest gear.

What truly made Shebeen Febrewery special was the sense of unity within the crowd. The festival brought together hip-hop lovers, creatives, and partygoers alike, all vibing to the same rhythm. The synergy between the performers and the audience was undeniable, reinforcing Shebeen Fest’s reputation as one of Harare’s must-attend monthly events.

With each edition growing bigger and better, Shebeen Fest continues to carve its place in the local hip-hop scene. As fans left Motto Republik still buzzing from the night’s events, one thing was clear—Shebeen Fest is here to stay. The only question now is: what’s in store for next month?
